One day I was heading to the office and I was listening to the Radio. I heard this Punjabi song with a great tune and that made my day.
This was Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s song “Main Tenu Samjhava Ki”. I liked that song so much that I shared that song with my friends in the office, on the day I heard it for the first time, 4 years ago. Now there are 3 versions of this song.

#1 – Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Farah Anwar

The song is melodious because of its music and tune. This one is my favourite of all.

#2 – Sahil Ali Bagga and Farah Anwar

I have read a lot of comments on the videos and searched some other websites to find out which version is the original song and who is the music composer. Based on what I saw, both the versions (Rahat’s and Sahir’s) belong to the same music album.

The female singer Farah Anwar has sung the female part in both the versions.

#3 – Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal

When I heard this song in the movie, I felt like the song is not best fit for the movie and its situation. But anyway, it worked surprisingly well for the movie.

#4 – Alia Bhatt (Unplugged)

No comments on this version.

As I said, I heard this song first on the radio. That’s when I started liking it. So it was the song which became my favourite only because of its music, not because of any promotional or featured video with super expensive celebrity videos or other influencing things. It’s sad that the first version of the song was not successfully reached out to the people.

If you have heard all these songs.. I would love to know which versions you like the most. Drop in your comments below about this.
